Project Overview and Role

1.Overview

Palladium requires a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop learning and practicing experiences via online learning methodology.
  • Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content
  • Applying instructional design theories, practice and methods for maximum knowledge transfer and retention
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and advising on online learning module framework
  • Delivering high volume, high quality content and implementation
Responsibilities
2.Scope of work
  • Identify and project manage course development map and release timelines
  • Research, collate and source content from internal SMEs, and external best practice
  • Utilise online learning software to develop module templates to apply consistency to training
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Apply Palladium?s language and branding guidelines to content
  • Research and recommend options for professional voiceover time and cost
  • Develop and rollout publishing plan for each module?s release
  • Develop and implement training registration and monitoring process with technology available
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders

Requirements
4.Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instruction design modules
  • Proven working experience and high volume delivery in a global organisation
  • Proven experience in content management and collaboration with SMEs
  • Experience in using the Articulate suite and blackboard (tbc) desirable
  • Visual design skills utilising company graphics and photo library and ability to storyboard
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional test, audio scripts and video scripts
  • Lesson and curriculum planning experience
  • BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar

Project Overview and Role
1.Overview

Palladium requires a senior, experienced learning and development consultant to advise, develop and provide expertise in the organisations learning and development strategy and framework, course design and content development, and framework implementation and planning. The Consultant will influence senior leadership in the L&D strategy approach and design ensuring strong stakeholder involvement and engagement is achieved and strategise ways to embed learning and development in the culture of Palladium.
Responsibilities

  • Review, advise and redesign organisational learning and development strategy
  • Review of current learning and development framework, courses and content
  • Redesign framework learning in alignment with core competencies and career levels
  • Design and apply career learning maps of core, functional and technical curricula
  • Develop and facilitate implementation plan of learning and development framework
  • Develop and facilitate implementation plan for individual learning plans
  • Collaborate with learning and development support to define L&D systems and processes
  • Support and provide advice on the implementation of an Learning Management System
Requirements

  • Knowledge and expertise learning theories and principles for diverse demographics
  • Knowledge and proven application of best practice in learning approaches
  • Experience in strategy and design for global and diverse organisations
  • Experience in high performing professional services firms preferable
  • Tertiary qualification in related field; learning and development, organisational development, organisational psychology, human resources
