Required Skills and Experience
Education:
Advanced University Degree (Master's or equivalent) in Finance, Business or Public Administration, or other related field;
A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
Experience:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in project budget management;
UNDP experience in managing project budgets/cash in Atlas, atlas reporting module is an advantage;
Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages;
Experience in handling of web based management systems and ERP systems, preferably PeopleSoft.
Experience in UNDP programme finance is an advantage;
Experience in project administration (knowledge and practical experience in implementing UNDP Cost Recovery policy is an advantage);
Experience of accrual accounting, IPSAS or IFRS is highly desirable.
